This is Magnus and I am also one of the trainees.
It is soon time for GGP4 to start. While we have no stories to tell from the program itself, we can still try to share some of the events leading up to 1st September. The prologue.
A few weeks before the program start, all of us have begun working at different R&D departments of Ericsson all around the world. This is so we can settle in at our “home-units”, getting started.
So far, I have only been working 2 days, I have spent time to get the computer and cellular phone to work, study the documentation and introductionary texts on Ericsson and try to catch up on the industry. I am, like many of my soon to be colleagues are, new to the cellular phone industry. There is much to read and much to learn.
During the past few months we have made contact with each other over facebook, by e-mail and now this blog. All of us agree that this trainee program will provide excelent personal and professional opportunities. A great adventure!
We all look forward to the program so much we can’t wait to get started!! Therefore we have decided to start “one day in advance” by having a dinner at the evening 31st August, when everyone has arrived to Sweden.
It will be a nice international dinner, with food from all over the world, to celebrate the adventures to come! It will mark the end of this prologue and the start of something fantastic!
